JOSEPH ENTERS MTC ON OCT. 22ND

I can't believe that little Joseph is now preparing to leave his home and enter the MTC. He reports to the MTC on October 22nd. This week....Wow. Time has flown by. He is an awesome young man and he will be an excellent missionary in Kentucky. Ready or not Kentucky, here he comes! I know that Jennifer is just beaming with pride with Joseph. She had a very special relationship with Joseph and she told me often that he would quote scriptures to her and they would long gospel related discussions. I know that Joseph is more than prepared to serve. He has been preparing all his life for this. It will be the greatest 2 years of his life and I hope that he will make some wonderful memories while he is serving the people in Kentucky. We love you Joseph and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Joseph Got Mission Call

I just wanted to let everyone know that Jennifer's oldest son got his mission call to Kentucky. He enters the MTC in October. I know that if Jennifer were alive, she would be soooo proud of him. I know that while she is in the Spirit World she is also watching over her children and I know that she is so proud of Joseph for making this decision to serve his Father in Heaven in the best way possible. Jennifer raised him to know that a mission was expected after all the blessings that they have received from their Father in Heaven. Joseph will be an awesome missionary because he has always been preparing. He has often studied his scriptures and other gospel doctrine to prepare him for the next two years and really for the rest of his life. Good luck Joseph and know that your mother will be with you in Spirit always. She loves you very much.

Anniversary of Jennifer's death

Today is the anniversary of the day Jennifer died. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. I think about Jennifer all the time and I do miss her very much. But I also know that she is happier in the Spirit World with our Mother than she was here. She was in so much pain here. I know it was a tender mercy that Heavenly Father took her home. She is now able to watch over her children in ways that she couldn't if she were still living. Her head stone has been laid now and it looks really good.

Jennifer's Birthday

Today is Jennifer's birthday. She was born on April 4, 1966. So I guess she would be 42 years old. I am going to go to the cemetery today and see if her headstone has been placed in and take some flowers. This past year has gone by so fast. It seems like just a month or so ago we were all at Lorna's celebrating her 41st birthday. I hope she does realize that we love her and miss her dearly. I always will.

I have wanted to do something for a long time to express to everyone my love for Jennifer and how deeply I miss her. I thought this would be a good way for us all to remember Jennifer and also a way for her children to be able to post messages here and share memories of their Mother. This is a my way of paying a small tribute to Jennifer. She and I went through so much together as we were growing up. She made me laugh, she made me cry and often she made me want to rip her hair out. But those are memories that are priceless to me now. So please everyone! Share!! Make us laugh and cry..whatever!
